Conquering the Da Vinci Code (Day 14)

Day 14 is here for The Da Vinci Code Quest on Google. So far the challenges don't seem to be too much more difficult. What do you think?

I've updated my website with all of your comments and suggestions. Please keep them coming!

Good luck on today's challenge...

there was one more quastion for the day -15 challenge.
Translate "design" to french. the answer was "conception". As per google SMS.

I bet these guys are testing their tools online with millions of web users. The might be also storing the search string from each signed in user. Well that counts to a good database anyway. but a proof that the suer tried google fo the answer...

Just found your site. I find the restoration puzzles to be the most challenging. You have been getting lucky if you haven't thought it through and managed to not get stuck.

Anyway, these puzzles are still relatively trivial. I just found the challenge last night and did the 15 so far in a total of about 1 hour. They're clearly wanting you to learn about the various Google tools.

Help with day 18. I have found the first three blades, but cannot find the fourth.

1: mid left side
2 and 3: middle bottom

4: I have scanned all over and need help.

Day 18:

A cityscape jigsaw puzzle. Pretty easy once you line up the white lettering on the lower right side.

1. Identify the city: London
2. Locate the Four Blades: on mine they were located as follows - Bottom edge, R of Ctr; Bottom edge L of Ctr; Left edge, Ctr; Top edge, R of Ctr. Hope that's clear.
3. Identify the location where lines drawn among the above Blades intersect: Imperial College.

Day -18 chanllenge:
this is basically the same matching all peices of a picture to form a city ( google earth view or goog map satelit view)

The question is "the city has Leaonardo's work with reverse handwritting"

The city is London

Then there are 4 blades (pyramid symbols to be identified from the picture, they are pretty easy.

Then the 4 blades wil form ends of an X. the intersection is an building which holds another work of Leonardo and this building is just north of "Victoria and Albert Museum..check out google earth for this view to get the answer.

Anyway the answer is "Imperial College"

The answer

I started doing these last night. For some reason, I keep getting an incorrect answer for Day 17. I put f, quest, and 7. But it won't accept the 7! I tried writing 'seven' but that didn't work either. Also, if I put any other number, it says, "Not bad. 2 answers are correct." etc. But if I put 7, it just says "your answer is incorrect." It's so strange. I wonder if anyone els is having this problem. :( Oh well.
